Bill Downer-President/ Director of Operations

Bill started as residential framer for his brother in 1986.  By the following year he was running his own crew.  It is this drive that lead him to Vice President by 1994 when he took on the management of all field operations. In 1999 Bill purchased the company from his brother and became President of JMD and still remains in charge of all of our field operations.

Dave Curtis-Vice President/ Scheduling and Plan Review

Dave became a licensed builder in 1986 and has remained in good standing since that time.  He worked as a carpenter for JMD from1987 till 1990 when he became a foreman.  By working as a carpenter during the day and going to school at night, He graduated with honors from Eastern Michigan University, with a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management in 1995.  While continuing to work in the field.  He taught an evening Vocational Construction Trades class for three years prior to becoming Vice President of JMD Contractors Inc. in 1999.

Jeff Blankenship-Vice President/ Director of New Sales

After graduating from high school, Jeff left to serve our country in the Army.  He served a two year term and was honorably discharged in 1987.  Jeff returned to the states and began working as a carpenter for JMD.  In 1990 Jeff first started running his own crew.  In 1999 he became Vice President and is in charge of new work acquisitions.

Karen Curio-Office Manager

Karen joined JMD in 1993 and is in charge of office administration, accounting, and payroll.  Notary Public.
